The Mandatory Movement Lane Control symbol signs (R3-5 and R3-5a) shall include the legend ONLY. Mandatory Movement Lane Control signs should be accompanied by lane use arrow markings, especially where traffic volumes are high, where there is a high percentage of commercial vehicles, or where other distractions exist.
