Stop Slow Sign Paddles

The outer mast shall consist of a pultruded hollow pole made of an inner continuous strand mat, a lter of unidirectional glass fibers, running parallel down the length of the rod, and an outer mat of and surface viel. The out mast will measure 1.25" x 53". The outer mast will also have a black rubber butt cap on the bottom end to protect the pole and keep it from slipping on slippery surfaces. 

The inner mast will consists of a pultruded single later of unidirectional glass fibers pultruded over a honeycomb shaped polystyrene core. A surfacing veil runs on the outside of the inner mast to reduce splintering, blooming, and improve surface characteristics. An ergonomically designed transition fitting is attached to the inner mast, which has a .140" notch cut 2 5/8" in into the end and two (2) holes drilled to allow bolting to sign faces. Inner mast measures 1" x 53'.

The sign face is an octagonal 24" fiberglass reinforced plastic substrate. The material is weatherproof from -40 degrees F to +160 degrees F.

The Safe Zone series STOP/SLOW paddle is designed to allow the staff to telescope from 54” to 84” for ease of use controlling traffic through temporary traffic control zones. It is available in reflective and non-reflective faces and comes in 18” and 24” sizes.
